Moving innovative solutions towards action to transform food systems

It is exciting to learn about the many existing and “pipeline” innovations being generated and proposed in the food systems space. In order for these kinds of solutions to have a major positive impact in the near and medium-term future, it is essential to make sure that solutions are appropriately designed, selected, and adapted to fit the concrete real-world challenges and needs of a specific context - in this case very often at the country or regional levels.

In this part of the portal we want to draw attention to the need to focus on context-specificity when working with solutions as well as in planning for investments for scaling up solutions for major impact.

These tools are meant to support and inspire the process of identifying innovative solutions in your context and moving those towards action for impact to improve both planetary and dietary health for all.
